Puush/Gyazo type program that allows me to enter my own server details? - Browzer - Aug 6, 2014 I'm looking for an OS X/Windows compatible program that'll allow me to enter my own server details instead of using Puush etc. Are there any out there? * - Nutar - Aug 6, 2014 I don't think there is. You'd have to create your own, or maybe reverse engineer one. Also, this is the wrong forum. * - Browzer - Aug 6, 2014 (Aug 6, 2014 01:02 AM)Calypo Wrote: I don't think there is. I think there is more work on the PHP side of it than the actual exe side of it * - Ayzhin - Aug 6, 2014 Try this: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4370293 * - Nutar - Aug 6, 2014 (Aug 6, 2014 01:04 AM)Browzer Wrote: Can you point me in the right direction? First, you want your application to POST the image to your script and the script will upload it to a directory you have set. It will then show the link of the image, and your application will display it. I think VB.NET could do that. But you'd have to make the application keep listening for the PRNTSCR button when it's clicked. I'm sure Puush could be reverse engineered to edit the server location (Aug 6, 2014 01:15 AM)# Wrote: Try this: This is no good to me, it's not Unix compatible and uploads to Imgur * - Nutar - Aug 6, 2014 (Aug 6, 2014 01:19 AM)Browzer Wrote: It wouldn't be print screen, it would be a random button combination to allow me to select a portion of the screen. If you think so, give it a go. But I doubt that. You may try this, http://getgreenshot.org/ . It's open source. * - Browzer - Aug 6, 2014 (Aug 6, 2014 01:21 AM)Calypo Wrote: If you think so, give it a go. But I doubt that. Are you looking to create the application for your personal use, or just making it to release it? * - Browzer - Aug 6, 2014 (Aug 6, 2014 02:40 AM)Calypo Wrote: Ah alright. Personal use, puush was fine til they started deleting older files and using retarded URLs * - Nutar - Aug 6, 2014 (Aug 6, 2014 02:45 AM)Browzer Wrote: Personal use, puush was fine til they started deleting older files and using retarded URLs Try lightshot, it's great. Plus, they use imgur to host the images. * - Blackājack - Aug 6, 2014 Google for ScreenCloud. It works on Windows, OSX, and Linux, and lets you upload to their servers, Imgur, or your own FTP or SFTP server. * - Cathal - Aug 6, 2014 Why is this in the PHP section? pls ppl * - Browzer - Aug 6, 2014 (Aug 6, 2014 04:49 AM)Cathal Wrote: Why is this in the PHP section? pls ppl Why don't you read? pls ppl I've clearly stated that I put it in this section because I guessed there is more php work involved in it than anything else * - Cathal - Aug 6, 2014 (Aug 6, 2014 05:17 AM)Browzer Wrote: Why don't you read? pls ppl You didn't state that in the OP. Anyway, no.. the PHP side is the easy part. There's a source floating around that does exactly what you need, but I think it's written in C# and so won't be cross-platform. If you're interested in that, I'll look around for it, just lemme know if it's any use to you. |
