I'm also hoping the "Need hosting" threads get cut down as well due to this.

I don't agree with MCProHosting on the high quality section. I've had plenty of problems with them. They may be good for small 5-10 player server. I had a server with them and once we hit 50 players or so, the server began lagging. There weren't many plugins or anything, it just wasn't a good experience. We swapped to an OVH dedicated server a few days later, and everything ran like it should.

My shared hosting company of choice is Creeperhost. I've used them plenty of times in the past, and never had a problem with them. You can also install more games like starbound and source games to host. They've even got a great control panel that isn't Multicraft.

GGServers may be cheap, but we have taken steps to improve our service quality.

We do in fact have DDoS protection all of our nodes except of the ones in Las Vegas.

We also have our premium line that runs on SSDs.

Just searching for GGservers on HF will bring up more bad things than good ones.

Our sales thread is 60/40 feedback last time I checked. We have taken actions to improve our quality of service, and still keep the $3/GB price point.

We actually have 2 interviews for tonight for new staff to get the support quality and time up.

By the way, to any potential readers out there, when Hypixel says they are being "hosted" by MCPH, it does not mean that when you buy your servers, you will get the same quality that Hypixel has.

Hypixel is on sponsored dedicated servers that MCPH owns.
When you buy a server from MCPH, you will be getting shared hosting instead.

Ok updated the thread. I honestly like MCPH, they respond fast to my tickets which IMO makes them stand out against the other competitors. And... fuck GGServers... I can give a million reasons why they are a LQ host.

GG servers are not good, dont buy there, RAM/CPU is shown of high usage when a server has no plugins/map ETC i think its shared completely, we need a company that offers your own dedicate space.

That is why a dedicated server is the way to go if you have the money and player base for it. A CPU and all the ram that you can pay for, all to yourself. SYS and OVH are the way to go if you can afford it.

gg servers is BAD
and remove the /fr/us from soyoustart because when you are from holland they sell special game dedi's

that are like 10-12,50 euro's for 2 weeks so 20-25 euro's for a ddos protected game dedi :) (32gb)

just a tip, change your ip to a dutch ip, buy the game dedi and you will save ALOT of money ;)

* - Dayumm - Aug 12, 2014

add ovh.com/ to dedis for bigger servers :D
then quadhosting.org/ at Moderate Hosting/Medium Quality, and ye its ddos protected & uses ssd
netherbyte.com at Cheap Hosting/Low Quality
remove MCPH from high quality, put them at Moderate Hosting/Medium Quality/Overpriced Hosting

those are for 14 days and you can't renew.

Updated from what people have been suggesting. Keep on adding some more!

Updated again with 2 hosts from HF! Put them in a new section because of how new they are and the very small amount of reviews.

I believe that kimsufi (http://www.kimsufi.com/uk/) should be added under VPS/Dedicated Server. Kimsufi is a sister company of OVH (as is soyoustart), although kimsufi is meant to be a more affordable option as compared to soyoustart or OVH and therefore offers lower specs.

Also to my knowledge OVH and all their sister companies (soyoustart and kimsufi) have free DDOS protection that kicks in after an attack has been detected.

Kimsufi servers are weak though.. only the KS-4 has a cpu that's good for minecraft
