How to make an image fit into your text perfectly [Ryan / Tutorial / #3] BEGINNER - 'Ryan - Aug 15, 2014

Today I will be teaching you about Clipping Masks.

Clipping masks can be used to make images like this signature I have made.

The first thing you need to do is have the text you want to apply the mask to.

Now that you have the text, find a picture that you will use to mask the text with.

Place the picture in the layer above your text.

Right click the picture layer and select "Create Clipping Mask"

Done! Simple as that.

that was a very brief tutorial and not as detailed as i would have liked (for the people who dont know how masks work) but alright nonetheless

I am still trying to learn more about masks, once I have a greater knowledge of them I will post a tutorial about them.
