[TUT] Alternative to No-ip | DuckDNS | Easy Turorial [TUT] - Khamul - Aug 16, 2014

Duck DNS is a free DNS service that can be used as a replacement for NO-IP. It has a downloadable client for all platforms (OSX, Windows, Most Linux Distros). I have been using it for over a month now for Darkcomet and it works like a charm!

How to setup:

STEP 1) Go to https://duckdns.org/ and register an account using one of the 4 methods shown below.

STEP 2) You will be redirected to a user panel page. you will see this in the middle of the page:

STEP 3) Now enter ANY name you want into the part where it says 'sub domain'. e.g. (darkcomet.duckdns.org) and then click 'Add domain'.

STEP 4) Now download the client from here: http://etx.ca/downloads/DuckDnsUpdater-Installer.exe

STEP 5) Now when you have the client set up, go to your notification tray in the bottom right, right click the duck logo and click 'duckDNS settings'.

STEP 6) Go to DuckDNS homepage and copy/paste the 'token' into the token field in your client. Then input your dns host name (BUT ONLY THE FIRST PART) into the Domain box. e.g 'Darkcomet' not 'Darkcomet.duckdns.org'

STEP 7) Click 'OK'. YOUR NOW DONE!! Just input [yourdomain].duckdns.org into Darkcomet/Nanocore/IM3/JSpy and your good to go!

Hope this has helped some people, leave feedback and thanks!

I suggest you to do the following with your Original Post now you're still able to edit it:

Take your gyazo links and do the following (I did it with your first one):

Open the link (I took your first one: https://gyazo.com/f59a65c8bab1a567aa19f6a9fe7c591f ) in a new tab and add .png to the end of the link.

Press enter and copy the new link https://i.gyazo.com/f59a65c8bab1a567aa19f6a9fe7c591f.png (Notice the i. in the front and the .png in the end).

Now put [img] in front of the link and [/img] at the end of the link:

This looks much cleaner IMO
