New Team Member - MeshCollider - Crypto™ - Aug 30, 2014
Thanks to his hard work on developing Omnicoinj, we are happy to welcome ӍeshCollider aboard the Omnicoin team. Thanks to their work on Omnicoinj, we will soon be able to expand the Omnicoin environment to encompass Java-built programs, including Android apps.

Thanks Sinister. As Crypto said, we are currently working on the java implementation of omnicoin (omnicoinj) which I will then use to create an android wallet for omnicoin. We are on to the final stages of omnicoinj development.

It is disappointing, it seems like most of the omnicoin team are no longer working on omnicoin. Only Crypto, Doctor Blue and myself seem to be actively working on it . We really need a refresh, get things moving again with more support. Hopefully we can reorganize our developments, continue developing new things, and provide more support for the coin. I would really like to see the coin become used and successful again. So currently, we are planning a large overhaul to get things back on track.
We have created a new github wiki which will serve as the official omnicoin site. We will soon update the sticky thread with a simplified version pointing to the wiki. I would also like to see omni working on omnicoin.org and adding more integration into hackforums - which is where omnicoin needs to get its foundations.
If you would like to help omnicoin, please buy more OMC and start purchasing things with it! Any coin use is hugely beneficial. Please keep mining too, and feel free to contact me with suggestions for future things you would like to see in terms of HF integration and the coin itself.
