HackForums is declining... - Cyba - Sep 8, 2014 HackForums back in 2011 was much different than it is now. Back then, when you did a deal, you would not even have to worry about getting scammed. Now, every few minutes, you see a trusted Ub3r member scamming and doing so until his/her account gets closed (if they scam enough). Back then, you wouldn't have a problem getting an exchange done, now you need to get checked, check scam reports, check reputation, etc. So many trusted members are scamming, especially Ub3rs, and it's making it difficult for the rest of us to complete simple transactions. Don't get me wrong, but... * - Guede - Sep 8, 2014 But that's not the problem though, it's people leaving the forum since they've had enough and selling their accounts online for money, I for one got scammed by a user with 530 reputation, i noticed that he had not been repped at all recently (6 months ago literally), did a deal with him and got scammed. * - Deany - Sep 8, 2014 It really is, it's sad. People scamming for 10 dollars and shit lol. Pathetic. * - Seer - Sep 8, 2014 The marketplace, as of right now, is filled with a plague of shitty lowlife assholes who are out to take your money. And it will remain that way until staff start getting involved. Until then you just have to do your research. * - DPR™ - Sep 8, 2014 (Sep 8, 2014 01:38 PM)Japanese Wrote: It really is, it's sad. But this scam reports are good to warn other members about it. * - Dorrance - Sep 8, 2014 Shit is very crazy I am scared myself to be scammed out of an exchange, due to people charging back with Paypal. * - Autononymous - Sep 8, 2014 I know right, but what the actual fuck, why scam someone $1.00... I'd rather just give them the dollar rather them scamming it... * - Cyba - Sep 8, 2014 Forgot to add, but also the amount of people that are obviously multiaccounters joining and getting rep by 10 cent giveaways is just... * - Ahri - Sep 8, 2014 I don't understand why people sell their accounts, are you telling me my account is worth something :D? Honestly if a ub3r is caught scamming, they should just be dropped to l33t. Ub3r shouldn't be just a userbar, it is a title you earn. * - Gerion - Sep 8, 2014 (Sep 8, 2014 01:41 PM)Popstar Ahri Wrote: I don't understand why people sell their accounts, are you telling me my account is worth something :D? No, if an ub3r is caught scamming he/she should be closed. * - Healasuk - Sep 8, 2014 (Sep 8, 2014 01:40 PM)Dorrance Wrote: Shit is very crazy I am scared myself to be scammed out of an exchange, due to people charging back with Paypal. Lol that happened with me. I got in the negatives because someone chargebacked 52.00 PP on me after i sent them my hard earned BTC * - Sick - Sep 8, 2014 Yeah i agree 100% on this myself iv only been a member since 06-08-2013 But as of late the scam reports are a worry doesnt matter if its for 1$ or $1000+ And most of the time its the Ub3rs being blamed ..Also i think its shocking that i myself have seen Ub3r accounts for sale im not going to mention any site names but i find this totally unacceptable can it be stopped? I highly doubt it! Sad times to see accounts being sold for money * - 420 Blaze It - Sep 8, 2014 Back in 2011, why would people scam, when people sell Ponzi Schemed Ebooks for $20, which is to make ebooks and sell them? Typical Evan C methods. * - Ahri - Sep 8, 2014 (Sep 8, 2014 01:44 PM)Gerion Wrote: No, if an ub3r is caught scamming he/she should be closed. We all know that won't happen, at least make ub3r a much more respected title. * - ۤMD5 - Sep 8, 2014 I got a nice idea, if somebody gets caught scamming and there is solid evidence, his username will be changed permanently to something like.
