Word of advice to stupid and repeated questions I.E FIREWALLED/UPGRADES - theboner - May 27, 2010

First off this thread is to state you guys are simply wasting and/or adding more time when

1. You make a thread stating you didn't you your 1337 or ub3r
REASON= Instead of them upgrading you they now have to read your pointless post.
REASON2= Omni isn't a scammer when he has time he will get to it DON'T WORRY

2. You make a thread stating you were firewalled.
REASON= It takes more time to make a post about how you got firewalled for stupid reasons then it does to read the help document on it.
REASON2= Instead of OMNI or IBF fixing the issue you then create more time before it will get done so they can read your repeated thread.

This can all be solved by reading the help documents section and/or going to the contact page and submitting your problem.
Or you can read 2-3 threads down for the same exact thing and realize that it doesn't do you any good to complain.

What can you really do when you make a thread about it?
You really wouldn't want to post your IP or your Transaction ID in your thread so whats the point of posting the thread all together?

I know I wasted time posting this but its better to have 1 thread then to have the same thread repeated 5 times a day with the same answer.

This is all over the help section, if your trying to get this as a sticky your not trying hard enough :] Anyways its a good guide.

I never wanted it to get a sticky but 1 post to stop 10 posts in my eyes is worth it.

Just use this sweet tag:

Code
[help]

We recommend you take the time to read the HF Help Documents section. The answer to your questions should be contained in there.

My goal isn't for new threads to be created with canned respone. My goal is to help stop the thread from being created in the first place. Prevention is always better then resolution.

If anyone has any ideas to stop other pointless yet constantly repeated threads please pm me and I will be sure to add it to my original post
