[Challenge] Hack Me If you Can ~~ (Pretty much a SE'ing challenge) - xMoD - Oct 3, 2014

~ Anyone interested ~
I'm giving you a chance to try and hack me!
This is a white hat challenge, and Id prefer if you just do whats needed not completely ruin me 😖 !
Though I dont mind if a few black hats give it a try.
There probably isnt going to be a prize, though I guess grey/black hats will try and get whatever they can, so I guess thats sort of a prize!

The main reason for this is to extend your hacking knowledge and of course to help me secure myself.

White-hats:
Dont forget to leave a Proof-Of-Hack (PoH) like a text file containing your tag/username & how you did it. (Or post here after you do).

Black-Hats:
I'd like you to do the same, but its up to you, as it is for the white-hats.

Of course I guess you'd need some info to get started:

External-IP: 74.137.174.43 (NAT router, so obviously multiple hosts behind the router)
OS: Windows 8 => 8.1
Username: Jake

And I do have at least one port open from my router to my PC.
A few services like => FileZilla FTP.

What do you think you can do?

Edit:
If you can get my email, I'm open to Social Engineering attempts, if you can craft good enough emails/Skype's I might just click a few links ;)

Uhh.. You know very few people could just hack someone with an IP..

* - Vextoray - Oct 3, 2014

I agree with the post above; just by providing an IP will give out very minimal results or even none at all.

I suggest maybe give out a little bit more info? Until then, challenge denied.

Lol. cant do much with this info. Well, probably could but not worth it.

Gasp. You srs?
Remote Exploits = Dead.
Client = Constantly being reborn.

Anyone with any hacking knowledge would know this, and go straight for the client-sided attack vectors.
I just assumed I wouldnt have to actually say that. Especially since I noted I had a windows 8.

I don't see any point of this... Like... why? I hope your shit get's fucked for posting this.

This thread is useless honestly. I don't think the majority of HF can do anything with just an ip. What do you think we are, lulzsecc? Nah jk. Please provide more info though!

* - xMoD - Oct 3, 2014

Guys its as if your not thinking >_>
Is all of HF like this?

The IP is just a plus. Use some skills & knowledge and maybe go for a risky ISP dox.
I did say at bottom to find my email and go for client-sided.

Getting info is your job.
Thats the point of this challenge.

The point is to help others learn Social Engineering (I guess I gotta type it out, no one seems to put 2 and 2 together.) and client attack vectors.

It wont. And if it does no biggy. As long as they had fun.

Sheesh If I have to actually supply my email etc, it removes like half of the challenge!
If its pointless I understand I just thought some people might want to try.

If no one actually wants to try, then just let this thread die so i dont have to keep checking back!
(I was just curious on what some people would try :) )

Do you really think that "Anyone with any hacking knowledge" would waste their time on this? 🤦‍♂

Why is everyone attacking OP for this? I personally specialize in website hacking, but an IP address and open ports can be enough to do some damage. OP is clearly just trying to have a little fun and see what people can do. It's not the wisest thing and individual could do, but none of us should be judging and attacking him for it.
