Anime Music (and Japanese music) - Mefie - Oct 4, 2014

Hello guys,

I explored that I do not only like animes, but their music in itself as well. Sometimes, when I have no time to watch a full anime episode or am not in the mood, I just switch some of their best songs on and listen to it. The last anime that I watched and had awesome songs was Guilty Crown, but before that Mirai Nikki's, Elfen Lied's and Fate/Zero's soundtracks were amazing also.

"Anime" music lead me into the fantastic world of Japanase music that not necessarily is in contact with a certain anime. It is known that I love metal and therefore it is not a miracle that I have found my taste in Japanese as well. Maximum The Hormone for instance:

Maximum The Hormone - What's Up People!

From time to time I listen to more relaxing music like the work of Ryuichi Sakamoto.

Which anime's music do you like the most? What other Japanese music do you listen to? Is anyone here into Japanese metal? 👍

Crossfaith is pretty awesome too but I believe all their songs are in English..

So is One Ok Rock, and some others I'm forgetting the name of.

I would listen to them in Japanese because Japanese bands usually sound better in Japanese, but they are not bad in English :-)

No I mean they don't even have any songs in Japanese, they're all in English despite hardly knowing the language.
