RealTalkForums - Debate, Discuss and have fun! - Chappie - Oct 6, 2014 ![]() RealTalkForums is a forum built upon the idea that you have the freedom to express who you are and say what you feel. All opinions, views, stances and religious beliefs are accepted no matter how controversial they may seem. Although forums are a great place to congregate people of similar interests I feel it is too often these interests always have to be based on one side of the coin. The only thing this forum conforms to is Religious, Scientific, Philosophical and Political content. This isn't a "Liberal", "Conservative", "Libertarian", "Atheist", "Christian" forum. However we welcome all who are of those foundations. Everyone is free to voice their mind and no one not even forum staff can tell you otherwise(Unless it violates code of conduct of course). We are not solely based on this though. We encourage a gaming community, Tech community, Readers, Writers and more. We hope our forum to grow broader than just Religious and political discussion - Come help us make that happen! What I am trying to sell to you is this. We aim to be a family of people and learn to live together not the same. I am not looking to fill our forum up with a bunch of intellectuals who sit behind their keyboard mastering rhetoric(Although if that is you, it's not discouraged). I want it to be a place the average person can get involved in discussions that effect the world around us, or just want to engage in playful debates. 🤣 We are starting to do weekly Google Hangouts on Air. Where we engage in playful and serious discussion. Don't judge too harshly on our first one. This was basically a "wing it" hangout to experiment with what we like and don't like. Podcast Hangouts

Thank you. Member base is low, due to it being fresh out of the womb. But hey, you have to start somewhere. I also will be investing more money into promotions for it(Outside HF) * - Vuln - Oct 6, 2014 Bookmarked, I've been thinking about joining a discussion forum for a while. Good luck with your project, I hope it'll be a success. * - Chappie - Oct 6, 2014 (Oct 6, 2014 01:20 PM)Jailbyte Wrote: Bookmarked, I've been thinking about joining a discussion forum for a while. I know I would enjoy reading them. * - Galileo Galilei - Oct 6, 2014 signing up right now. look ford to seeing active members on this forum! * - Cyrus - Oct 7, 2014 The SRPP forum here is a place for all views & opinions anyway? Nonetheless, goodluck with your forum. I just don't see the point in forums when HF has every forum you could need. * - Chappie - Oct 7, 2014 (Oct 7, 2014 07:12 PM)Cyrus Wrote: The SRPP forum here is a place for all views & opinions anyway? You are absolutely right. Hack Forums is a wonderful place, especially for the typical computer junkie because it has every interesting category possible. However, to me and I think some others it is nice to separate yourself. Occasionally here in the SRPP you get flooded with the 14 year olds who joined HF to follow RAT tutorials and come in here to voice an un-educated rant and rave while using big words and auto-correct to camouflage their discussion as an intelligent one. Which is expected with a forum with such a large diverse community. By diverse I mean people who joined here originally for different interest. However some people find it peaceful to surround yourself with people equally interested in deep thinking to the extent you are. People dedicated to the topics enough to join a forum strictly for that discussion. All in all it's not about the having a board to discuss these topics on but rather to form a community dedicated to these particular topics. It is not anything intended to replace HF SRPP, because I myself could never trade this section for any site. Like I said though, sometimes it is nice to discuss things with people equally dedicated to the topics. As far as the "Place for all views & opinions", yes HF SRPP is that also. This is due to Omni being a excellent administrator on this forum and others. The fact of me stating that in the title was to avoid confusion of this forum being a place for specific views. I hope that cleared the air. Also thanks for the good luck! * - Kantos - Oct 7, 2014 (Oct 7, 2014 07:40 PM)Libertarian Wrote: However some people find it peaceful to surround yourself with people equally interested in deep thinking to the extent you are. Or, more likely, a bunch of people with relatively similar views will join and proceed to circlejerk their shitty opinions. * - Chappie - Oct 8, 2014 (Oct 7, 2014 09:15 PM)Peter Kropotkin Wrote: Or, more likely, a bunch of people with relatively similar views will join and proceed to circlejerk their shitty opinions. Not the goal at all. We simply aim for people who enjoy these kinds of discussions. Although the risk exists, I will do my best to prevent any formation of a majority rule circle jerk. * - Auxil - Oct 10, 2014 Signed up, and I already love it.
