Theoretically Remove a File from Someones Machine - DrPanda - Oct 8, 2014 So Theoretically speaking from a mental skill challenge view, lets just say a guy brakes up with his girlfriend and moves out. on the computer that is now in her possession, has scans of his birthcert, personal details, like bank account details and such, and he doesn't trust that she will use them to get payback on the guy. lets say Theoretically that the guy has the IP addresses and knows the location of the files on the system, and this guy wants to hack into the computer delete the files and get out unseen. This is all Theoretically speaking for the purpose of a mental hacking skills challenge... How would you do this, without using a Rat or having physical access to the machine, also you have to be able to get away without a trace. the Theoretically machine has basic security and the current Owner/User doesn't know much about them. Type how you would do it below... * - Nigga From Africa - Oct 8, 2014 You probally wouldnt execpt if you found a remote exploit. * - Mr. Miyagi - Oct 8, 2014 I'm not the best skilled in this area, but I don't think this is possible with just an IP since multiple computers can be on an IP address, but if the computer had some sort of ftp application for remote access or something it might be possible. Like I said i'm not the right person to be answering this question. * - MrTing - Oct 8, 2014 It's Hackforums, you don't have to be theoretical. It honestly will come down to a little bit of social engineering (which I can't talk about on this forum). I think, at least for an amateur. a RAT or a stealer is the way to go. If you can find a way for somebody to run it on that computer, and grant you remote access from running it, you should be able to run a command to remove those files. You'll have to put a bit of common sense and work into it, but if it's valuable information, then it should be worth it. Note: For sending it, if you know an email, try that way. Think of some sort of plan in advance, don't just send stuff though. * - Nigga From Africa - Oct 8, 2014 (Oct 8, 2014 01:32 PM)MrTing Wrote: It's Hackforums, you don't have to be theoretical. He said without using a rat. And you wouldnt get access with a stealer execpt if a ftp was running. * - spidum - Oct 8, 2014 If the computer didn't have remote desktop disabled and considering that you lived there and had previous access to said computer it would be quite easy to rdp to the comp with the ip, and login with known info. Then simply navigate to the files and delete them. Op you should search for an rdp exploit in windows or just scan the IP with Kali and hope to be able to get a meterpreter shell. Honestly what you are trying to do is not that difficult with the right tools and knowledge. * - Nigga From Africa - Oct 8, 2014 (Oct 8, 2014 01:43 PM)spidum Wrote: If the computer didn't have remote desktop disabled and considering that you lived there and had previous access to said computer it would be quite easy to rdp to the comp with the ip, and login with known info. Its disabled by default so i doubt that would work out. * - MrTing - Oct 8, 2014 (Oct 8, 2014 01:35 PM)Death0x Wrote: He said without using a rat. And i suggested to him to use a RAT. A stealer can get credentials to other useful logins. I can read. * - Nigga From Africa - Oct 8, 2014 (Oct 8, 2014 01:56 PM)MrTing Wrote: And i suggested to him to use a RAT. Yeah you suggested rat but he didnt want a rat. A stealer cant delete files or get remote access. * - Supreme - Oct 8, 2014 Your best bet is to social engineer your way into deleting those files. However, keep in mind that there's always a way to trace a person's activity. * - Nigga From Africa - Oct 8, 2014 (Oct 8, 2014 02:01 PM)Supreme Wrote: Your best bet is to social engineer your way into deleting those files. Why would she trust you? * - DrPanda - Oct 8, 2014 Ok lets Tease up the Parameters... lets say Dropbox is installed on the machine ..... * - Zabuza - Oct 8, 2014 I believe that a R.A.T would actually be the best solution here. Do you have access to the Dropbox account? * - Gratitude - Oct 8, 2014 no no no no. You can't hack into someones computer just by their ip Accounts on websites for example is on the table tho... * - a323109 - Oct 8, 2014 (Oct 8, 2014 01:29 PM)DrPanda Wrote: Type how you would do it below... Physical access If i can put my hands on that computer i'll make files impossible to recover by a average user. 1.Enter Bios 2.Change boot 3.Boot my operating system 4.Mount the hd with root privileges 5.Find file and delete it 6.restart and restore Bios settings 8.Done |
