Force Elevate Process [Force UAC] - Malware - Oct 13, 2014

This is my first release on these forums.
This program is intended to keep running the application as an Administrator until Yes is pressed.
There are still a few problems, if the user is a standard user and does not have access to the administrator password then the dialog will not go away.
Anyways, credits to a class I found on the internet when researching, "VistaTools.cs". I expanded on this class to help me in this program.

So what is the point of the UACTools class when this is literally all you have to do?:

Because there is no need to do this if we are elevated...

it seems to work with XP in that if you're not an admin it will perform functions for standard user

I do not have access to an XP computer but from what I remember as long as you are an admin you can perform the function. There is no UAC in xp so I dont have to check, with xp I can just check if they are an admin.

Do you even understand what I posted?

That's exactly what my example is... The UACTools class is completely unnecessary.

Because that function will return false even if my UAC is off. I just tested it.

Clearly you're doing something wrong, because it works perfectly fine on my Windows 7.

But it doesn't... I can show you on Teamviewer right now if you're this serious.

EDIT: Omg you're so stupid. It doesn't IMMEDIATELY start with admin rights, that's why you put in the IsAdmin() check... It uses the Process.Start(), and it autoelevates without a prompt (if UAC is off).

No need to be rude.

So this code seems to work well, however I'm not sure what will happen on XP.

Also it needed a trycatch block, but other than that I think it is probably better than what I wrote. However, if the user cannot provide administrative rights then their PC will not be usable till that password is entered.

Thanks
