Is Naruto too Mainstream? - alex3top - Oct 27, 2014 Hi, the only anime I watch is Naruto and I have never heard of any other anime except for Bleach.. It seems like Naruto is too mainstream or considered bad by anime fans! Am I right in my statement? * - FederalReserveOSRS - Oct 27, 2014 Not a big anime guy myself but I can defently recommend sao <3 * - Levi - Oct 27, 2014 What is 'too' mainstream? Being popular doesn't really mean anything. * - Wolderman - Oct 27, 2014 I don't understand why some say that they don't like mainstream anime's because they are mainstream. But you are watching it to enjoy it, not for somebody And there is a reason why it's too mainstream. Because they are good * - Doni - Oct 27, 2014 One piece and Naruto are the most selling mangas in the world . This 2 animes in my opinion are "Kings of anime " for now . My opinion . * - Vegas - Oct 27, 2014 I mean if you're specifically targeting anime that few people have seen (not sure why you would) then yes, this could be considered too popular. People are likely to bitch and moan at you for even mentioning the name so it's always a good idea to expand your horizons. * - Rakshasa - Oct 27, 2014 naturo is best animes u all juts watch shit anime and shit taste * - Chips Ahoy McCoy - Oct 27, 2014 I don't like Naruto anymore simply because I feel that it has been dragged out way longer than necessary. I guess I just don't like long Shonen as a whole. I prefer 12/24 ep series with good stories. (Beyond the Boundary) * - iMew - Oct 27, 2014 (Oct 27, 2014 04:12 PM)Rakshasa Wrote: naturo is best animes u all juts watch shit anime and shit tasteUp until now I thought you were some kind of jesus that blesses this section with wisdom while being completely immune to the LQ level of content it consistently offers at the same time. Nobody is immune to Naruto apparently. OT: if it's mainstream it obviously does a lot of things right, if you enjoy it just ignore the people who say it's bad, I don't really see why this needs its own thread * - Fireworks - Oct 27, 2014 (Oct 27, 2014 04:41 PM)iMew Wrote: Up until now I thought you were some kind of jesus that blesses this section with wisdom while being completely immune to the LQ level of content it consistently offers at the same time. (Beyond the Boundary) Except Hunter x Hunter Anyways ofcourse naruto is mainstream but that doesn't mean you can't like it, I still like it as much as when I was 13 yrs old. * - Nevieth - Oct 27, 2014 Watch the anime you enjoy, who gives two shits if something is mainstream or popular or not? Don't be a sheep. * - Leminiscent - Oct 28, 2014 It's definitely mainstream. Whether or not it's too mainstream is up to the beholder. While all of the hate towards mainstream anime is unjust (they've obviously earned their place), I can understand it. Although it has become EXTREMELY filler full, to the point where you're watching more filler than plot progression. One Piece and Bleach are no different. Sooner or later the "big three" will fall and give way to new, overly popular, anime (a la Dragon Ball). * - dznkgg - Nov 1, 2014 Naruto is one of the best shonen anime for me, he became "mainstrem" in last few years, but I don't watch it for somebody else, i watch it for me, so if I like it, I like it, idk what somebody else think about. |
