Cant turn on PC, 5 time beep code /help - Dax - Oct 28, 2014
I'm on my phone so bear with me..
I just got back from school and i can't turn my pc on. Everything sorked great yesterday.. Shut it down normaly and everything.
When i turn it up, pc beeps five times and at the same time red led light blinks at the ritam as it beeps. I have HP compaq dc7700 convertable midtower. Please can anyone help me? I really need it. Thanks!

What is the length of EACH beep? It's morass code. "Short short short long" "Continuous short beeps"
Does the system power off after letting it sit and beep?

Problem solved.. Googled it and it said something about processor failure.. I was worried so I opened the case and cleaned the sink and everything, pulled RAM and put it back. Working now :) Thanks for the help anyways :)
