Moving out of Vegas - Vegas - Nov 4, 2014
I'll be leaving here in the very near future and I'm just starting to come to terms with it. I got a rather deep spell of depression today so I feel like I should just talk about it rather than letting it build up. Usually gives me panic attacks.
I really dislike moving... Much more so moving states and states away.
It's not the end of the world, but I'm realizing how much my personality has been molded by the events and people that I experienced here. There are so many friends that I just don't know how I'm going to live without. So many places I will never get to experience again unless I come back. I guess that's true for any place, but any place would feel most important if you had spent the majority of your life their, right?
Sorry to bitch and moan, I need to keep my mind active and not dwelling on the not-so-bright side.
How do you guys get over moving away to places that you're attached to?

I live in a bad place, and I'm moving up north soon, for the better, specifically for the protection.

I grew up moving from place to place really. I'd get comfortable for 3 or so years and then be forced to move again, it's not pleasant and I don't think I'll ever get fully used to it.

That's how a good chunk of my life was, except I've lived here like twice as long as anywhere else. I haven't lived in a primarily cold climate since I was a toddler 🤮

Hey buddy, I also live here along with you, and I also plan on moving real soon. I was thinking maybe Hawaii? Colorado? I don't really know, I just want to start over. Vegas just isn't home for me anymore.

I wish I could say the same. No place has felt more like home to me than Vegas, I feel like it's all I know. I get pretty choked up thinking about not seeing these people anymore. I don't even want to humor the fact yet that we won't be taking my dog.
