HF "get rich quick" eBooks are Ponzi Schemes and involve Multi-Level Scamming - Astro Boy - Nov 7, 2014

So these are hugely popular scams on HF eBooks right now, and I believe they constitute the use of fraud and Ponzi Schemes - the method is a simple promise that you'll get rich after selling ebooks on selling ebooks.

Some examples:
Consider that they all offer the same:
- Two levels of purchase: standard and premium, with the former option without a refund
- The section on "what the method claims NOT to be" are identical
- T.O.S policy where an unsatisfied buyer can only obtain a refund if they actually try it out (by setting up their own scam)
- Their payout screenshots are either fake or clearly show that they're scamming people with purchasing the same virtual product
- They all make the same lucrative promises and promote one another through sig banners and over hyped marketing sensation

Just a thought, let me know what you guys think. I feel foolish for being stupid enough for falling for these get-rich-quick schemes.

There's countless ebook threads, and countless more ebook debunking threads. Why they're still allowed, and why kids still would pay for them, only Jesus knows.

They have to contain a method that tell you to make an ebook and sell that, do they?

* - Meepo™ - Nov 7, 2014

you just found that out now ??
these methods are used years and years ago

I don't know why I was so naive. Ominous specifically has a sticky in the eBook section saying "no ponzi schemes" allowed, so why is HF so unresponsive with taking down these illegitimate methods?

Better question yet: why are there no official, trusted, reviewers anymore?

To tell you the truth from what I have read about these 3 posts they all do seem to be identical, pretty much a pyramid scheme that they have running here. This isn't good for the community at all as it is just a repeat and rinse cycle.

All E-Books are just full of copied public methods. There a load of crap. Best way to find a method is find it yourself!

Hi my name is Boxxy,

annnnd I completely agree with you. But there are actually SOME E-Books out there with good methods, it's just the market is polluted with everyone and their mother's get rich methods that are saturated that it makes the actual legitimate E-Book sellers look bad ...

So, you have never bought my ebook but you're saying it's an example? 🤦‍♂
Do research before throwing out claims bud.

Can't say I have. But it oddly looks like the same thing I've been scammed through. I'm sorry if this isn't the case, but I'm seriously pissed that people in the marketplace are getting away with garbage like this.

You just look at leaked ebooks, don't lie.

Well don't scold me, I know a lot of eBooks are trash.
I'm not going to release trash products though.

As for the refund option, I've given a few refunds so don't say all them are fake. 🤝

No, I've legitimately purchased an eBook recently and it was garbage. You can view my detailed dispute thread here: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4526199

Why isn't it suspicious to anyone that these TOS are exactly the same? "try the method first? (ex. scam some people, or else I won't refund you)
Why are you providing this shady "term"? Sure, it's possible to actually make a few bucks scamming people. But ask yourself, is it worth the time and effort while hurting others?

* - 420 Blaze It - Nov 7, 2014

You can actually report Ponzi Schemes, I suggest to a staff.

Describe how I'm scamming someone.
If they don't show proof of profits after 30 days of work I refund them.
Why would I refund someone who DIDN'T even try the method?
Simple as that, stop throwing out assumptions.
