Cheat engine + Steam for game time? - Reporter - Nov 7, 2014

Can I run Cheat Engine,

Inject it into steam and then speed steam up by like x50 then open a game and get x50 times the game time?

If it's an offline game, sure, why not? If it's an online game, nope.

Pretty much this. You'll only be changing client-side values in memory but if the game you're manipulating doesn't have server-side resetting of that value then it won't change back.

So it does work?

I can "farm" hours with this?

I don't think it doubles hours if you inject C.E into steam. Also, I don't recommend using C.E on steam at all, since it is possible to get a vac ban. I've been banned from using it before

How do you get a vac ban on steam?

Vac ban is on games, not on steam itself?

It's on steam. If you're banned from somewhere on steam you're banned from everywhere on steam.

It is STEAM's Anti-Cheat

But how do I get VAC-BANNED for using cheat engine on steam?

I do not run any steam vac protected games. just running it on steam

Yeah then that's understandably.

I was just VAC-Banned in Counter-strike:Go for hacks.

To be honest it's not worth it as I'm very bored right now.

This does not work,

Tried speeding steam up with x100, game time did not change at all (Let it run for 1 hour), only 1 hour were added
