tried helping out someone, ended up getting scammed - Herbert - Nov 9, 2014 Hello HF, as some of you may know I've been a victim of scamming quite a lot the recent two years, today it happened quite unpredicted. so this girl on my instagram list became a seller for clothing a while ago everything seemed fine people looked satisfied with the clothing so I saw something I like and contacted her about it, she said the shirt costs $50 which was a insane price for a shirt she designed, but as the generous guy I am I wanted to help her and I did like the shirt so I sent the money to her bank account and she would set the delivery for the package ready and it should come in 3 days, so I also told her if she needed help with a website for her products she simply didn't answer so I waited 3 days and contacted her again, asking politely where my package is. and I got no response so I waited 24 hours and sent her another message I seen that she was quite active on instagram so now I warned her if I don't get an answer in 24 hours I'll take measures. So tomorrow if I don't get a response I'll go to the bank and clear things up show them proof of our conversation etc. Stupidly she forgot I know her name and I could figure out where she lives and teach her a lesson or two about stealing but I'm not that guy. so in a situation as I am, what would you do? * - Supreme - Nov 9, 2014 I would probably let it slide considering it's only $50. But if it was any higher, I would do the same thing as you would. * - CarelessBaboon - Nov 9, 2014 Wow that sucks man I would try sorting it out with the bank. * - DPR™ - Nov 9, 2014 I hate scammers. I got scammed 2 selling league accounts. * - Juuzou Suzuya - Nov 9, 2014 As Supreme said, 50$ isn't that much. If 50$ is worth that much though I suggest you clear it up with the bank and try and get your money back. * - Pain - Nov 9, 2014 Hey man you are herbert..that's why people target you since your old and innocent:/.. Anyway I think you should teach her a lesson and get your $50 back, if you do you might be saving other people from getting scammed. * - Archives - Nov 9, 2014 Maybe there is some problem or delay with delivery? You can wait for few more days else you can end up telling this case to Bank. * - nique ta mere - Nov 9, 2014 Quote:I could figure out where she lives and teach her a lesson or two about stealing Don't do it John, you won't last in prison, especially on a rape charge. Sorry you got scammed :P * - FaberCastell - Nov 9, 2014 Don't let it slide because she is a woman. You were thinking with the wrong head... Report the police/bank or whatever. * - Tyler the Creator - Nov 9, 2014 Nah dude money is money do what you gotta do. Don't let her get away with that. * - negerhek - Nov 9, 2014 Find out where she lives, get money back + double or more amount for the trouble you had to go through and maybe shutdown her scam site. |
