Web browser is displaying plain html (Windows 8.1) - MechWarrior67 - Nov 11, 2014 So I have a site called it-ebooks where I enjoy reading ebooks. Well I went to go read one yesterday and I noticed that it wasn't displaying it correctly. Instead it was only showing the html/javascript and not the actual ebook itself. It has never done this before. And this is a fresh install of windows 8.1 so there shouldn't be any issues.. Image:

I do have some installed (For web pentesting + adblock) but I did safe-mode with add-ons disabled and same results. My browser is FF (Firefox) beta 34.0 I also had two friends test it for me and they claim to have the same results (Plain text displaying) And the same thing as well for my other laptop and parents desktop. http://it-ebooks.info/read/4317/ Does it do the same for you? * - webdev77 - Nov 11, 2014 Shows text for me in the box as well. It's an issue with the website. * - Aura - Nov 11, 2014 (Nov 11, 2014 03:37 PM)webdev77 Wrote: Shows text for me in the box as well. It's an issue with the website. I confirm that. Whoever uploaded that book clearly did not do it correctly. It's not on your end. However, I did manage to download the eBook, and I just reuploaded it for you to view. Here you go, buddy: https://www.dropbox.com/s/cgt4kes4r0jmn8z/Minitab%20Cookbook.pdf?dl=0 |
