10$ would really be the minimum you could find in my opinion, 5$ custom printed shirts for a small order (30-50) would get you either crappy quality of print + material or huge shipping delay.
Out of curiosity, what's the site you currently found?

If you're aiming for around 50 shirts per design just go on alibaba
You should get around 3-5 (maybe 7$) per shirt and usually supplier will ship to you for free.
Note you'll probably get tagged by customs to pay duty though
