Thoughts about the Chaos;Head Steins;Gate and Robotics;Note Series? - Sensing - Nov 27, 2014 In my opinion each setting of the series was extremely well thought out. Completely mind-blowing. I love seeing dramatic sci-fi themes like this. * - neiqhtworks - Nov 27, 2014 Chaos head was alright, it was real "animey." * - Sensing - Nov 27, 2014 I know what you mean. It definitely gave me the "yeah I'm watching some real japanese shit right now" feel, haha. * - Azsry - Nov 27, 2014 The amount of thought put into the universe of the x;x series still blows my mind. Personally, ChaoS:HEAd was utter shit, Steins;Gate was great and Robotics;Notes sits strangely high on my list, given the genres not exactly sitting within my comfort zone and that it has rather average ratings on MAL. * - Fireworks - Nov 27, 2014 Are these all related? Or do they just happen to have the Semi Colon as a common attribute? If true, could we include Myself;Yourself onto this list? Because I'm currently downloading Robotics;Notes and this has been in the back of my mind for a while. * - Sensing - Nov 27, 2014 (Nov 27, 2014 05:03 AM)Fireworks Wrote: Are these all related? Never understood why, though. Chaos;Head doesn't really have much to do with either. Just a few references to it in Steins;Gate. Although Robotics;Notes has a whoooole lot of references to Steins;Gate. (Nov 27, 2014 04:30 AM)Azsry Wrote: The amount of thought put into the universe of the x;x series still blows my mind. Steins;Gate was great tho, I never knew Robotics;Notes existed so I'll give that a try. * - Sensing - Nov 27, 2014 (Nov 27, 2014 06:25 AM)Esdese Wrote: Chaos;Head is easily one of the worst anime I've ever seen in my life. You'll definitely enjoy it if you liked Steins;Gate. Robotics;Notes imo was the best of the 3. Made me use my head way more than the other two and the plot was just cinema quality, not to mention a huge graphics overhaul. Almost a 10/10 if it weren't for Gurren Lagann. Mad props for using Esdeath as your avatar and (sort of) name. Akame ga Kill definitely isn't the type of anime that I would normally watch but I've recently started loving the traditional "This week we're battling this guy" fighting animes. Another of my favorites in that genre would be Kenichi. Kind of old and the graphics aren't too top notch but it has an amazing story with even better character representation. But who gives a fuck what I think, go out and watch it! * - Esdese - Nov 27, 2014 (Nov 27, 2014 06:27 AM)Sensing Wrote: You'll definitely enjoy it if you liked Steins;Gate. If that anime you suggested is like it, I'll give it a try! * - Sensing - Nov 27, 2014 (Nov 27, 2014 06:36 AM)Esdese Wrote: Esdese is her actual name from the manga :pAhhh I see. Not much of a reader. Much more captivated by seeing it on screen. Although there have definitely been some great manga that haven't been produced. Also, Kenichi is a lot more reserved so expect a slower plot build but it gets pretty in depth about kung fu (not realistically of course, haha!) * - Esdese - Nov 27, 2014 (Nov 27, 2014 06:40 AM)Sensing Wrote: Ahhh I see. I'm not sure what it is about AgK!, but after the first couple of episodes I got really hooked on it, however it's noticeable that they're trying to rush to the ending which makes me sad 😠* - Dragon. - Nov 27, 2014 Steins;Gate is the best of the three, hands down. * - Tedeschi - Nov 27, 2014 Chaos;Head was really bad, probably one of the worst anime I've ever seen. But Steins Gate was really good. * - Azsry - Nov 27, 2014 (Nov 27, 2014 05:03 AM)Fireworks Wrote: Are these all related? Or do they just happen to have the Semi Colon as a common attribute? There's a map on the Steins;Gate Wiki about how the universe links together. * - frisco - Nov 27, 2014 (Nov 27, 2014 04:30 AM)Azsry Wrote: The amount of thought put into the universe of the x;x series still blows my mind. Totally agree. For me ChaoS:HEAd to the middle it was fairly not bad, but afterwards it went to the point, when I was feeling uncomfortable watching further. However, as the person above stated, Steins;Gate and Robotic;Notes has been given a great rating by me. |
