[Help]Volunteering - Absolute Greatest - Dec 9, 2014
So I volunteer every now and then, but I am wondering how I can record my hours. I never have really marked it down, but I should, so when I need to apply for colleges, I can mention it. Do you recommend a personal chart? Is there a website for it?

Just make sure to log your hours and keep the names of any references that may be able to verify that you did do your hours. š¤

Just write it down. I'd get the supervisors name and number for reference if you're using it for college applications.

I'm just asking if there is a better way then just pen and paper, I didn't know if there is a special way to log you hours, because with just a pen and paper people can bullshit it all.

It is because it is less about the claim of the amount of hours and more about the references.
People can technically volunteer for "5 years" but they only logged about 20 hours per year but when the person puts the reference and the reference does acknowledge that it has been 5 years... the student has 5 years of volunteer experience.

Your high school or the place you're volunteering should have official volunteer forms.
