First of all, I'm sorry about opening a new "I can't change my avatar" thread. 😵 I see there are already a lot. Very very sorry about that...
I'm not a dumb, Iknow iI can't upload an avatar until upgraded ecc, I saw the restrictions, 120x150, 70kb, external link only ecc...
However, it says the URL is invalid. No matter the image hosting service I choose.... Tried to select "remove avatar" before entering a new one, tried log out/in, tried a 90x90 avatar, cleared cache, changed browser, pc, smartphone, ip address, nothing, URL is not valid... Any help?

Are you getting a direct link to the image? Does the link end in .jpeg or .png or something of the sort?

Yes, it is direct. Tried both jpg and PNG, no luck...

In my own website, but i've tried imgur also, as much more avatars from more image hosting services... I get always the same message, even with the avatar I had before.

Does the url contains the extension of the pic (i.e:- .png , .jpg)?
I mean that the url "imgur.com/xxxx" would NOT work ,it should be "imgur.com/xxxx.png"

It doesn't work right now for everyone. You can't even change a picture in your signature right now for some reason.
