Shopping with Bitcoin! - NoMercy - Dec 26, 2014 Hi guys! This is a thread to help you american shoppers out so you can buy ANYTHING with Bitcoin. You can buy gift cards from here: http://www.gyft.com/bitcoin/ with your Bitcoins and then go buy whatever you want with the gift card. They have over 200 different type of cards. I must admit, as a brit I was really happy to find this site to find out it's for Americans only. So if you know of a site like this for British people, please post below, it would be massively appreciated! Also, enjoy your Bitcoin spending Americas, I'm sure it will be nice to be able to spend Bitcoin after Christmas since your PP accounts are probably empty ;) * - Regular Guy - Dec 26, 2014 http://lmgtfy.com/?q=where+to+spend+bitcoins+in+the+UK Nothing a good old google search can't solve ! * - NoMercy - Dec 26, 2014 Hahahah, smart man!. I'd literally just woke up and picked my keyboard up when I wrote this, hahhaa. At least Americans know a good site to busy things with bitoin now. * - Regular Guy - Dec 26, 2014 (Dec 26, 2014 09:10 AM)NoMercy Wrote: Hahahah, smart man!. I'm an Australian, so actually, I know exactly how you feel (it's probably a worse feeling ;) Though we are adapting here. I've bought a beer at a pub with Bitcoin before (never again the amount of questions I got and the amount of looks I got as if I were some sort of alien were extravagant) and a coffee at a coffee shop which was a better experience. But for some reason I find it hard spending online. There aren't many australian online stores that accept BTC. Oh well, a few more years and hopefully bitcoin grows and expands out to us both! * - citg0 - Dec 26, 2014 (Dec 26, 2014 09:16 AM)Regular Guy Wrote: I'm an Australian, so actually, I know exactly how you feel (it's probably a worse feeling ;) Really? Thanks for clearing that up, 10 times or so. * - NoMercy - Dec 26, 2014 (Dec 26, 2014 09:16 AM)Regular Guy Wrote: I'm an Australian, so actually, I know exactly how you feel (it's probably a worse feeling ;) I think you guys are on the tip of the iceberg and bitcoin hasn't explored the full iceberg yet. Why don't you set up a shop like that for Australians, clearly that is an area of the market that hasn't been exploited yet so you could earn a lot off it. Make a site about it and put ads on it and sell each one for like 12$ of BTC for a 10$ giftcard. The profits you would get off both of them would be huge. Quit being such a smart ass, that's what happens when you use iPhone Safari to post on HF. @NoMercy it would for sure be a gamble! Discounted prices for BTC users always intrigues consumers into learning more about what BTC is. I'm sure the microsoft introduction to BTC will surely enlighten new people into using BTC! |
