[EXCLUSIVE][TUTORIAL]How to Hack MyFonts and Get Premium Fonts for FREE!! - zombieman - Dec 26, 2014 Discovered this method myself. Enjoy. Download all your fonts now because MyFonts will likely catch on within a month or two and patch this. Go to the page of your font. Select "Webfont" at the top. ![]() In firefox (ONLY Firefox) Click Shift + F7 to open the Style Editor. ![]() Copy and paste the text from the third/final stylesheet. ![]() Paste that into a text editor of your choice, making sure word wrap is disabled first. ![]() Delete the CSS links to the fonts you don't need. Leave the lines for the fonts you need. ![]() Enable word-wrap now. Find the partial URL in the text that starts with /v2/ttf?<blahblahrandomshit> ![]() Paste this after the url http://easy.myfonts.net. Click save, and save it as <fontname>.ttf ![]() You're done. Enjoy your "free" font. Proof:

I've been working for the past couple of days trying to find a way to rip these fonts, finally found a loophole. Enjoy! * - Ordium - Dec 26, 2014 Wow, thanks OP! Will definitely be using this. How long did this take? * - zombieman - Dec 26, 2014 (Dec 26, 2014 06:35 PM)Ordium Wrote: Wow, thanks OP! Will definitely be using this. How long did this take? Probably took me like 4 hours of work total to find this. Chrome wasn't linking me to the font files because MyFont's javascript loaded the CSS and font files dynamically with jQuert (after the page loaded) so it wouldn't show up. Got it to work finally with Firefox's style editor. I hope it serves you well. * - ᴍᴏɴsᴛᴇʀ - Dec 26, 2014 please explain what the domain "http://easy.myfonts.net" is and why it is not "myfonts.com" ? Thanks, -xSyrenity * - zombieman - Dec 26, 2014 (Dec 26, 2014 07:06 PM)xSyrenity Wrote: please explain what the domain "http://easy.myfonts.net" is and why it is not "myfonts.com" ? Easy.myfonts.net is the domain myfonts.com uses for their CDN (content delivery network). Basically, it's where they use to host all their paid fonts. So if myfonts.com gets brute-forced or hacked, the hackers won't have access to any of the paid fonts. They're secure on another server and domain (myfonts.net). * - ᴍᴏɴsᴛᴇʀ - Dec 26, 2014 Ok thanks, just thought I'd make sure! Thanks again, -xSyrenity * - ᴘʜᴀɴᴛᴏᴍ - Dec 26, 2014 lol Thanks for the method very helpful if you want a paid font Maybe use in the future thanks * - ᴍᴏɴsᴛᴇʀ - Dec 26, 2014 I get the error is not a valid font file? any idea what I am doing wrong? Can you screenshot the error and file properties? i'm running Linux and not encountering the same problem as you. * - ᴍᴏɴsᴛᴇʀ - Dec 26, 2014 It's late and the only way I could do it before my laptop died. So I apologize for it being rough around the edges, hopefully it is still viewable; Spoiler (Click to View) Cheers, -xSyrenity * - zombieman - Dec 26, 2014 (Dec 26, 2014 08:08 PM)xSyrenity Wrote: It's late and the only way I could do it before my laptop died. So I apologize for it being rough around the edges, hopefully it is still viewable; In the third window, try clicking "Remove properties and personal information." Also click "Unblock" in the first window. Otherwise, the font file probably needs to be run through a TTF metadata editor to make sure there aren't any special characters in there (you can see a special character in the title in the properties, thats probably where the problem is). I'll try to find a fix, I just received a new computer for christmas but I still have to finish installing windows. * - Raleway - Dec 26, 2014 I got the same special character in my fonts title and when I try to remove it gives me a file access denied and it's asking to get permission from myself what the fuck? http://prntscr.com/5lcycy http://prntscr.com/5lcyf6 * - zombieman - Dec 26, 2014 (Dec 26, 2014 09:36 PM)v3dracula Wrote: I got the same special character in my fonts title and when I try to remove it gives me a file access denied and it's asking to get permission from myself what the fuck? Make sure you're administrator, and click "unblock" on the main file properties window. Then try deleting the properties. Good luck! |
