Grisaia no Kajitsu Anime sequel slated for March/April (Labyrinth & Eden) - zyvox - Dec 27, 2014

Grisaia is a trilogy of Visual Novels: Kajitsu (Fruit) being the first, Meikyū (Labyrinth) being the second, and Rakuen (The eden) being the third.
The first VN was adapted into the Grisaia no Kajitsu anime, having its last episode this Sunday. Apparently the two other VN will be merged into one anime season, airing already the end of March 2015.

Personally looking forward to this, hoping they can adapt it a bit better than the first one. I thought the first anime was great, however it definitely was rushed and cut short on all the routes. Should've made it 24 episodes. Anyway in my opinion I think these sequels will be easier to adapt based on how they are built up. The second VN has a bunch of after stories with the girls from the first, so what I think they will do is just drop that. Furthermore the games are already shorter than the first one. I think they will just adapt the grand route, which will be Yuuji's past, and tie it in with the third VN which continues directly off from the second game in present. Supposed to be some pretty rad action. What's more interesting to myself is that it seems Kazuki is gonna be a regular here. Hype!

Yes, that means this will be airing before the VNs get their official translation.

Hmm, Yuuji is not in the picture. Interesting.

The first season was somewhat slow for me. Let's hope a somewhat more exciting second season!
Oh well! Another anime I can add to my 2015-to-watch animelist! \(^_^)/

The whole thing is about Yuuji. It's weird that he isn't in that picture yeah, however the anime will be all about his past and then I'm pretty sure it ties into the present in the end of the 2nd game (first half of the second anime season then) and it goes from there with a lot of action. But yeah it's definitely about Yuuji. If anything I'd be worried that any of the girls are gonna get enough screen time at all :/

Although the adaption was sorta butchered (still enjoyed it, though), this is definitely something to look forward to. A VN translation is nice, as well. I've been wanting to get onto that for a while.

I felt the anime wasn't slow at all in fact I thought it was paced faster then it should be.

Agreed. They skipped a lot of content to fit it into 13 episodes.

Having just finished watching Grisaia no Kajitsu, I'm excited for this to come. Hopefully I'll have caught up on all the anime I've been watching by then.
