So on the command Prompt part it says "replacing X with the letter assigned to the partition" but in your picture you used numbers? I chose "K" and I tried putting K but nothing happened, I put 0 and it worked.. I'm confused? Then on the Partition List thing the one I created showed up as Partition 0, and when I put that it wouldn't work?

Edit: I suppose I figured it out, but now it;s telling me the partition isn't a "Primary or Logical Volume"?

When selecting partition or disk you will use assigned number to that object. I don't know which command you are talking about can you tell me which command its your having problem understanding.

I'm looking for "FileX (X:) but I don't know which one it is in the command prompt? Any idea

(Jul 30, 2015 08:37 PM)Freebooter Wrote:  You have to create primary partition X: partition is Logical partition. An extended partition is a container that can hold one or more logical drives. Logical drives function like primary partitions except that they cannot be used to start an operating system.
