Yeah there are alot of website where you can get IP lookup. But i made it , so that beginners keep their interest on vb.net By making small program , they gets motivated to work more ! * - +Haze - Dec 29, 2014 Here some criticism. 1. I don't see the point in the theme. I thought this was a tut on IP lookup. It should stay as just that. 2. You should of atleast used regex to parse the information rather than just dump it all on a text box. Other than that, good job. Keep up the good work. * - tweety - Dec 29, 2014 Oh, it's this thread again. Can we not? * - frawg - Dec 29, 2014 Thanks for sharing, having a go with it now! * - Earn - Dec 29, 2014 I believe the point of a tutorial is to teach a person how to do something & what it means, not just giving them a code to copy & paste. * - SniperWarrior - Dec 29, 2014 (Dec 29, 2014 05:04 PM)Earn Wrote: I believe the point of a tutorial is to teach a person how to do something & what it means, not just giving them a code to copy & paste. exactly and that is why i included step by step process including pictures. Actually , i have posted the complete source code , as this will make them go in correct direction ,if they are not doing it in the right way 🤝 * - RandomUser123 - Dec 29, 2014 It's how i would structure a "step by step" tutorial. https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4605600 Mine one was much basic, so in your case, you could be less specific too. But sharing full source code without explaining will not help anyone.. * - Nyan Kat - Dec 30, 2014 This is pretty cool, But you know you could just add a webbrowser and nagavtive it to www.whois.com And from their just enter the IP much easier. * - Odus - Dec 30, 2014 (Dec 30, 2014 08:19 AM)Nyan Kat Wrote: This is pretty cool, But you know you could just add a webbrowser and nagavtive it to www.whois.com And from their just enter the IP much easier. With that kind of thinking we can just go to http://who.is and enter it from our browser. OP I say the same as Earn. Hell, 3/4's of this was on the UI. * - xVipX - Dec 30, 2014 you can add loucipip whith out site just whith gio ip class & gio ip.dat |
