Section Rules and FAQ - Raptor. - Jan 2, 2015
This section is for the discussion of League of Legends, its eSports following, and any scripting/bots related to League of Legends. A few simple rules must be followed within this section.
Rules
- Do not post any marketplace threads here - post them in the relevant marketplace section thanks.
- Post all appraisal threads in the appraisal section, rather than here.
- Do not flame/troll within the section - this isn't 4chan
- Similar to the above rule, post constructive criticism for poor builds, rather than just abusing the poster.
- See if a thread in regards to a major issue/bug has already been posted prior to posting another.
- Do not copy/paste information or posts from other websites unless citing it, in which case a source should be provided.
- Try to ensure your threads encourage discussion.
- Do not beg for free boosting/referrals/skin codes/Riot Points.
FAQ
Q. Can I purchase a sticky in this section for my Referral/Boosting/Item shop?
A. Yes you can! A sticky costs $20/week.
Q. Where can I find players from my region to play with?
A. You can find them here :)
Q. How can I get a Korean account?
A. You need to be a Korean citizen, as Korea has laws restricting internet use and gaming for foreign users.
Q. Can I get banned for scripting?
A. The use of any scripts is completely at your own risk.

Can you add a rule that states that begging for codes/accounts and such are not allowed? Whenever PAX comes around, the section is filled with beggers with 3 posts that just joined.

They do, but from memory they're both Garena-based. Garena offers services to most of Asia.

That's not true.
Korea has laws that are dedicated to the internet and online gaming that's why Riot made a special server for them.
Only the CH (and several otehr asian countries) use garena.

I was under the impression they still utilised Garena infrastructure. I'll modify the OP then.

According to Wikipedia they serve Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia.

I read that too, but they serve China as well, so I assume that's incorrect/outdated.

Are these two threads you made going to be permanent?
Also, for the rules, I kinda feel like it should be noted that when a new champ comes out we don't need 10 threads on it. I know you said none for a bug but should include when new champs/skins come out as well.

Hopefully it will be stick'd soon so everyone is aware of the rules in this section. Glad that we have a mod in this section to control a lot of useless junk and begging.
