DarkComet RAT issue - godlikez96 - Jan 3, 2015
Hello, im all new to this hacking stuff, I wanted to learn how to do a RAT and then i saw a tutorial in this forum so i followed it, but I have a problem here.
I did my RAT on DarkComet, the only problem is that I am not sure if i have my 1604 port openned to it.. i tried the RAT on my computer and it worked only the monitor remote and file transfere, but the keylogger and the other settings didnt work. So to try if it really works I openned it on my sisters PC with AVAST disabled to the next boot, and it didnt work... on my pannel of DarkComet it is only my PC, not my Sister's PC....
when i go to canyouseeme.org, the only thing that appears is:
"Error: I could not see your service on <an IP> on port (<any port>)
Reason: Connection timed out"
so.... every port that i use, it appears that way.
Just to know: I'm using an Android internet 4G, but i think it doesnt counts because I tried my on my girlfriend internet today she has a router and it didnt work too.. same error.
I hope you help me as fast as possible please, i really wanted to learn !

You need to open the port in your local software Firewall and then port forward on your router. If you're tethering 4G off an Android I don't think it will be possible.

I see, so ill try on my gf's home today but how to open that port? I tried like i saw on the youtube too but when i open a port on my PC firewall i need to chose TCP or UDP, i really dont know whats that or wich one to choose. Or on the router website it is so different and I found a section called "port fowarding" or something like that, i guess i messed it up and the internet bugged just on my computer xD thats what i ve got for trying it alone.. so i need your help guys <3

I highly suggest if you're going to RAT you shouldn't be doing it to any family members ever unless it's strongly needed. Also some people will disagree but I'd say to completely disable windows firewall as its not really going to stop anything that your AV wouldn't and makes it harder.
So you're going to want to go into your router and find the "Port Forwarding" feature and enter the port's you want to use for the RAT to connect to. Unblock them and have them assigned to your IP and you should be setup.
TBH It's easier just to follow the tutorials on using the DNS method with a program. (Search for em, there everywhere here...)

I did with the No-Ip thing, with the DNS, OK ill setup my firewall to be off since is easier but then setup in the router will be the problem :/

I switch my firewall to OFF, i opened the Port on the router and NOTHING!
i opened the hack.exe(my rat) on another PC and it didnt appear in my pc... :/ tried to open on mine and nothing, not even on a virtual machine...
I would like your help :D
