md5 decrypt Request - •^v^–[ bLacKn3x ]–^v^• - Jan 7, 2015 hiii members of this suercool board, i need help with this hash 3e9badf532fb8772c6f0c2816d1ba1e2 its md5. thanks for all hashcrackers here ! Peace * - CrypticX - Jan 7, 2015 Why don't you use my free software https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4620359 It can crack an md5 password that has 12 charachters, and you are able to choose the charachters yourself. It may take a while, but it can get the job done. Anyways GL 🤝 * - chick3nman - Jan 7, 2015 (Jan 7, 2015 09:50 AM)Str8Ballin™ Wrote: Why don't you use my free software https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4620359 All 12 character md5s? So it's hooked to a rainbow table? Because 12 is a rather large rainbow table. @OP you can always try running it through hashcat. I'll run it in a little bit with a few others that were posted and see what i get. * - CrypticX - Jan 7, 2015 (Jan 7, 2015 03:44 PM)chick3nman Wrote: All 12 character md5s? What this software does actually is try every combination of each character. it will for example begin with "a" convert it to md5 and check if it maches with yours and so on. A brute forcer basically. * - chick3nman - Jan 7, 2015 (Jan 7, 2015 03:46 PM)Str8Ballin™ Wrote: What this software does actually is try every combination of each character. it will for example begin with "a" convert it to md5 and check if it maches with yours and so on. A brute forcer basically. Is it coded to use GPU's? Because that will be PAINFULLY slow up past like 6 characters long. Also bruteforce misses a lot of very weak passwords. To give you an idea of how unlikely it is for you to crack anything brute forcing like that, the password "password12" is 10 characters. 10 characters on full keyspace will take you years bruteforcing unless you have several rather powerful GPU's and you are using them to their fullest abilities. "password12" is probably one of the weakest passwords you can have and would be cracked by a dictionary attack in a matter of seconds. * - CrypticX - Jan 7, 2015 (Jan 7, 2015 03:50 PM)chick3nman Wrote: Is it coded to use GPU's? You are right it can take a lot of time to crack password with more than 6 or 7 characters. But who knows the password might be 5 characters long, why not give it a shot. Btw I may update the software with the ability to use a dictionary(wordlist) which will convert every word to md5 and try to match it. * - chick3nman - Jan 7, 2015 (Jan 7, 2015 03:59 PM)Str8Ballin™ Wrote: Nope it uses CPU. Also, not to stop you from developing or anything, but the hashcat project is way ahead of you on this. GPU support for nvidia/amd, word lists, rules, markov chains, multiple hash types, multiple tuning profiles, built in benchmarking, all free. http://hashcat.net/oclhashcat/ * - CrypticX - Jan 7, 2015 (Jan 7, 2015 04:13 PM)chick3nman Wrote: What are you coding this in? Well I think I may drop everything now and should do some research before starting with anything even though I made it for fun myself. Well good then, that's a tool OP might use then. Anyways thanks for telling me about this program too. Anyways GL to OP 🤝 * - chick3nman - Jan 7, 2015 (Jan 7, 2015 04:26 PM)Str8Ballin™ Wrote: Lol :p haha. It's still nice to see people developing tools for the community. * - •^v^–[ bLacKn3x ]–^v^• - Jan 10, 2015 hi my pc sucks so i cant decrypt this hash. its md5 and no online decrypter wants to work . hashkiller,md5decrypter etc. and this could anybody crack this ? lolomgrofls |
