Write your own Anime plot - Fun Project - Nevieth - Jan 13, 2015

Hello everyone, Nevieth here and I've been thinking about what would make a good anime plot, and this is my current rough draft. Feel free to write a detailed/ or vague draft of an anime that you'd enjoy, be creative and make up your own universe!

For starters, I've yet to come up with any character names so I'll just call the male protagonist character A for now.


Character A is the protagonist, somehow through some plot device added into my story later on, he has the power to edit essential things in his world, such as plant life, animals, and even human interaction and such. He's not a good guy, but he's also not a very bad guy either, he's neutral/ unsure of what he'll do. However, whenever he does this he takes on a new physical appearance of a man in a black and red mask with a long cape (just think awesome anime god/ demon figure).
However there's a price for said power, he can 1: only use this power while his real form is asleep, so his true form is vulnerable while he takes on the demon-form. 2: every time he falls asleep and takes on this power, someone he knows dies (basically to summon his demon-form he needs to absorb the life force of someone he knows, it could be someone random that he met for 3 minutes at the coffee shop, or it could be his own mother.)
This whole story will take place during the 21st century Japan/ or New York (a major population), and he'll be a college school student (as most anime... I know, how fucking original.) With this we'll see what sort of turmoil he has, what he does with said power... and if the police can track him down before it's to late, and he ends up killing a lot of people.

This plot is inspired heavily by Death Note I feel, I like the whole - student finds a godly power, uses it to save people but only ends up hurting people and endangering everyone. All the while the police are on the search for him, and if they find him and are able to prove he has said power, will be sentenced to death. Now it's a race against the clock to finish what he needs, before he's tracked down and silenced.- Stories like that always fascinate me.

UPDATE:

I'm adding in a new plot point that I've been thinking about, since this ability can only be used while the protagonist is sleep, I imagine he'd be forced to deal with drugs and in the near future perhaps even an addition to certain drugs which help him sleep and make things more relaxed for him. He'll consider this sacrifice for the good of mankind, while he's really just addicted and starts wavering off of his "path of righteousness".

Perhaps a new character to introduce would be Character B, who's for all current purposes, A's best friend and perhaps in the near future his love interest. Somehow about half way through the series B will discover that this unknown demon entity which has been appearing all around the world is actually A, and he/she'll struggle with either turning him in, killing protagonist A (probably with a gun against A's real body, which is actually very vulnerable) himself (because perhaps B's brother was accidentally killed in one of the demon's attacks/ rampages), perhaps he/she'll even feel like he/she's in love with A even more, feeling A can protect him/her even easier.

I'll add more later on, when I can think of something to further the plot.

Yes I know this is a very rough draft, but it just came off the top of my head and I feel like if I don't write it down I'll forget it.
Later on I may add further plot devices such as family relations, friends, love interests, and other road blocks for our sinister but kind protagonist to get around.

So if you would like to either help add to my story, or write your own go for it, I know a thread like this already exists but it's about 3 months old or so and I didn't want to bring a dead thread back to life, plus a new thread will help me keep everything organized.

A half angel, half demon child is abandoned outside of the plane of existence of such creatures; Feudal Japan.

He is brought up in a harsh world where the sword and rebellions were all to live by. Adopted by a woman who found him as an infant who was extremely empathetic for him being abandoned, he learned to love.
His adopted brother was a well seasoned Samurai who is bent on vengeance for the death of his father and he teaches him everything he knows.

In his teens he is able to defeat his brother in battle during training, his brother is 13 years older than him and is quite shocked.
He sees something driving him inside that is inhuman, (But doesn't know) and he decides to use his strength for revenge upon the (Insert name here) Clan by manipulating him.

Throughout his trials his mother will be the loving force in his life trying to keep him mentally stable.
His brother on the other hand will drive the demon inside of him to want to kill and get revenge for his adopted families name.
With his mind being split between good and evil and trying to balance it out, will he get revenge or will he see the meaninglessness behind it all?

That is until his brother is murdered by the same clan after they find out about the adopted brother. The mother is raped by several of the clan and taken away, the only evidence is her blood, bodily fluids that show it was rape and a note well written by one of the heads of the clan which he finds lying in a pile of blood and semen on the ground when he comes home from the market.

Will you come and get revenge for what you've lost,
Or will you join your blood and have the world to gain?
The choice is yours, this war is already won.
Will you choose the winning side, or death?"

I'm really into survival anime recently, so this anime plot will be based around that.

The beginning of the plot would be showing the protagonists every day life and how he despises waking up every morning without realizing how good he has it. He goes to bed that night wondering why he even has to live in that house after a fight with his father. When he awakes, he's stranded on an island with 20 other individuals. None of them have any idea what is going on except for the fact that they're trapped and all of them have a secret history. As time moves forward, the individuals are forced to create factions due to fall outs and insubordination. The factions they choose each have there own means of surviving. Some simply hunt and pick berries while others are intent on killing the other members of the faction in order to eat them. The protagonist would end up joining one of the neutral hunting factions and would experience his first murder when he's forced to kill a cannibal faction member. Since then, his lust for killing slowly grows as he becomes okay with it.

Keep up with these awesome stories, I'm going to re-read them and see if I can snatch some ideas... I mean... wot.

Eh.

Human technology have evolved to the point where space itself limits it. There is only one human that remains, the
others have taken taking their own life as living billions of years was too much to take. The main character struggles
to protect the sanctuary of which he lives in and survives against a 4th dimensional being. He/she will then re-live the lives
of people from the past and by using the machine called Chronicle, he/she will need to find out a solution to defeating
the intruder.
