2015 ranked season - official ETA - Temp - Jan 13, 2015
Earlier today, about 4 hours from now, Riot has answered most of the competitive players questions: When is season 5 kicking in?
It starts on January 21st
Here's something I noted through my reading:
Quote:in previous seasons, placement games were way more impactful than regular season games
Which means that the 10 placement games won’t cause established players to swing as far up or down because of good or bad luck.
Obviously, they're still adding a soft ranked reset which means you're most likely going to end up somewhere lower than where you used to be.

Dang, I just got to D1 a few weeks ago after months of not playing ranked..zzzz I probably won't have time to get back there this season. Oh welp. Good luck to everyone when going through their placements :)
