AngularJS and others please explain? - salbagsanting - Jan 15, 2015

Okay, so I read the definition of AngularJS and I'm a little bit confuse on how it works, the only thing I understand is the data-binding part. Can anyone explain the potential of AngularJS in laymans term?

P.S. if you would be so kind also explain the NodeJS, UnderScoreJS, backboneJS and the potential of Boostrap?

AngularJS is basically a collection of utility functions that allow you to quickly create rich front-end apps using templates, and Model-View-Controller application business logic. It abstracts the necessary code, so you don't have to write much at all to do a lot.

Node.js is a backend implementation of JavaScript based on Google's v8 JavaScript engine. It allows users to write JavaScript in their backend, and use a large collection of user-created modules to aid their application development via NPM.

UnderScore (and LoDash) are utility libraries that simplify common tasks that don't have built-in functions in JavaScript.

Backbone is similar in function to Angular, but is less opinionated.

Bootstrap is mainly a CSS framework that allows users to quickly scaffold websites. However, I recommend something less bulky like Pure instead.
