I have been trying to insert a GIF into THIS signature

Do you just want the gif where the picture is? No editing to the gif at all?

I just inverted the colors of the actual text and cropped the gif into the section you set in your picture.
For the sides I blurred it (Surface blur for insides + blur tool on sides) with a PNG overlay so it doesn't look as grainy.
Then, I cropped out the top section so it doesn't look as cut out since I couldn't add a gradient overlay for whatever reason.
In the end I just went to good 'ole Save For Web and made sure the colors were lower than 1MB since I didn't know HF's limit off the top of my head.

As far as the dimensions go, it's 600 x 200, which should also suffice as a signature. If you want me to add the 25px on each side, I guess I could do that but it looks a bit tacky.
...Unless it's too big of a file size, which I can fix on my end :)
