So I have been playing RBGS quite a bit in wow and people have started resolving skypes to ddos each other out of the game.
I have purchased a proxy service and created a new skype in which will always be proxied. But I have one problem.
My old skype is still resolving to my ip address even though I have connected to it with my proxie to give it the proxies ip instead. I have also tried turning off wifi on my phone and connecting to it and even went to mcdonalds and used their wifi to get it to resolve theirs.
I feel really at risk as many people in the RBG community have my old skype still. Any idea how to get my real ip off the resolvers and my proxy or random ip to show up instead?
I even tried the "direct connections from buddy list only" option.

There are posts on here to stop all Skype resolvers. I cannot post links however I did just search and find a useful example.
It may take a while for it to update, so I suggest avoid using Skype, or resolve yourself every now and then and see if it changes.

Ahh okay. How long does it typically take for resolvers to update and swap to the last ip logged?

clear and flush your cache while you are at it in case skype is retaining your old info

Dexter posted a good method on blocking all resolvers, I have not tried it but it has received positive reception https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3726185
Remember that if the proxy isn't working, Skype tends to bypass it and connect directly through your IP
