Someone attempted to hack my website via Acunetix... - Dgameman1 - Jan 18, 2015

So yeah. I have their IP and they tried SQL injecting my website and they spammed account creation.

It was a bit helpful cause now I know what to fix but I have their IP. Anything I could do with this?

Any booter you suggest I use? It doesn't need to be a a super powerful one cause I'm assuming it's just his home network

I've already pentested my website and I'm currently in the process of fixing it. What he did was extremely unnecessary.

My website is a gray area legally so I don't think contacting the police would be the best

You can always ddos them or just report it :D

They probably did not use their own IP. It would be pretty dumb.
High chance they used a VPN so don't even bother...

Are you sure it's their actual IP ? It could be a VPN/proxy. They could have a dynamic IP and it could have changed or they may have changed it etc. Do a WHOIS on the IP.
https://who.is

You can also use http://whatismyipaddress.com/ip-lookup and it will tell you if an IP is static or dynamic.

The IP is static.
