Does anyone know how to activate a virus on the next computer startup? - KuKomPU - Jan 25, 2015

Okay so I'v written this little virus script, but I was thinking; if i walk up to a computer, pluged a usb into a computer and then run the virus, people would see the computer which I walked away from all messed up, therefore giving away that i did it and I would get caught.

So how do I set up a script so it auto executes on the next startup or something? I know I can just RAT the computer aswell, plant the script somewhere on the pc, then remotely launch the virus. But that's not really what I want to do.

Thanks in advance guys :)

You can put the virus in the startup folder so that it executes on boot.

No, a rootkit is something that hides a process or program(s) from being detected and maintains root access.

You could do task schedule which you pick the time and date it starts. Hopes this helps a little and good luck!
