{QUICK} {OFW} GET YOUR IDP NOW! - nondescriptoldie - Jan 26, 2015
Get your IPD's before this method gets patched. This allows you to do many things with your OFW Ps3!
Method:
1.Download IDPStealer here
2. Open CMD and drag IDPStealer's program into the CMD window.
3. After the above step do a space and then type "-p 8080 idps.bin"
4. On your PS3 go to the proxy and type in the proxy and the port. So it would be:
"1.1.1.1.1.1.1" PORT:8080. (Replace 1.1.1.1.1.1.1 with what it says in your CMD".
5. DO NOT CLICK TEST CONNECTION. Now quiclky navigate to the "Whats new" and DO NOT SIGN IN!. On the Whats New just keep backing out and into the thing until you have your IDPS on your computer.

ah i heard of this. lel the name is kinda scary and all but nice method for non-cfw users and also easier way to get cids from ps3's.

I have 2 Super Slims OFW, a phat and also 2 other CFW consoles. One of my Super Slims has a custom ODE and the other is literally just there! I done this method with this and were able to retrieve my CID. I could then decrypt the backup! 😎

Your IDPS is your identification # for that console (CID/Console ID). They look like this

People sell them depending on their level of security, whether it's shared with other modders or not. Shared IDs go for like $10-$15, private ones go for $25-$30. This is what modders need in order to play online so they tend to buy these a lot.👍Code00000010085000810037E89335EDBA4

So this would only work on your OFW, will this work just to test on CFW to see that it works or na?
