1507 Days, 36,168 Hours, 2,170,080 Minutes, 130,204,800 Seconds & Counting... - Vinnie - Jan 28, 2015 My Active Sub-Forums 1507 days, 36,168 hours, 2,170,080 minutes, 130,204,800 seconds and counting
Time Spent Online: 1 Year, 1 Month, 1 Week, 4 Days, 21 Hours, 49 Minutes, 23 Seconds My Top 5 Active Sub-Forums Nightfall This is my most active sub forum, because it's my group and I enjoy talking to my members, the majority of them are people I enjoy speaking to on a daily basis, we mess around a hell of a lot more than any other group, there has been a few incidents in the past that has caused problems for staff but recently I think we've gained self control to not troll and shit post as much. But I can tell you for a fact that everybody loves our lounges due to the freedom we provide (including staff and admins), other groups tend to stay on the "high quality" side of things, I don't believe in that. Lounge This is my second most active sub forum, why? Because I like to browse random threads, there's not much that I can say about this section that hasn't been said such as, "this section needs work because of troll threads and off topic posts". I personally believe lounges are supposed to be like this, imagine if the Hackforums lounge was all tidy, there was no trolling, no spam posting, the forum would be dead, the majority of the posts accumulate from the lounge, without the lounge Hackforums would lose a lot of it's member base. (my opinion) Group and Crew General Discussions Thirdly we have the group section, since 2012 I've been leading groups, thus this being my third year, I have to stay active in this section because of obvious reasons, I own groups, I have owned groups and I've lead groups. Group owners tend to check this section actively from what I've noticed, why? Because we like to see what the community thinks about our group(s), not only do group owners monitor this section but so do group leaders and members. I know this section has had a lot of flaming recently, it's kind of like politics if you think about it, different parties going at it, different members from different parties going at one another and so on, most of you might think it's going in a bad direction but I think it's naturally supposed to be like this. This is what Hackforums is. Another thing I wanted to talk about are Hackforums groups and how people have been saying they're going downhill, I don't believe in that, why you ask? I'll tell you why. I believe that members from the past haven't moved on from those groups that they lead or were members in and once the groups were changed, sold or closed they kept the good memories of the groups and never let go. Nostalgia, this is what the previous groups of Hackforums were to them, they don't see it as nostalgia, they see the previous groups better in every shape and form. I don't. I personally miss certain aspects of the older groups but I sure as hell don't think all of them were any better, maybe a few such as Illuminati, The Alliance and more. Here is an example on site, remember our old theme? Remember how many people fought against the change to the new theme? The same happened with the older groups. Another example when I was younger I played the game Runescape religiously until they changed it's combat style into a more modern game engine, so many of us left that game and let go but our nostalgia never forgot the good memories and one wonderful day they brought a poll to bring back the Runescape 2007 servers, we expected it to be just as good as it was back then in 2007, however that was not the case. It wasn't, it was just our memories, the good memories that we couldn't let go of, nostalgia & nostalgic moments. Runescape I spent most of my earlier days in this sub forum playing Runescape with Hackforums members, that's how I met the majority of them. Most of them I still talk to and others I've let go. There's not much else I can say about this section, I tried to go for moderator of this section but I never really asked, I've given a few of the suggestions that were accepted such as the prefixes and the sub forum redirect to the virtual marketplace because people kept getting banned for trying to sell in game items and staff had no idea what to do but ban, Omniscient ended up fixing that after a thread I created about it. The thread can be found here. https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3282629 Rules, Announcements, News, and Feedback Last but not least the section where every mentor attempts to assert their dominance. I can't say much about this section as it's actively monitored by Omniscient as well as other staff, admins and mentors. If something goes wrong in this sub forum it's usually taken care of pretty swiftly unlike other sections such as the lounge or marketplace discussions. I'm not going to lie I did attempt to go for mentor at one point but there was so much drama and with my attitude towards members I saw that it would never happen. Just saying, I would of made a hell of a mentor, but instead I got undercover staff which isn't too bad. Hackforums Groups
I can't give an opinion on my own group. You decide. I used to troll understalker to the level where he would get so mad he would try everything in his power to aggravate me but now we're cool. However that doesn't stop me from saying that Echo is the definition of skid group, why? Stress testing is known as network security in the IT industry. If it was a network security group then it would appeal more to the forum but network stressing is a joke. Oh and yeah I know that it's also a hacking group and whatnot. Oh and as for Arrow we've always been cool, we've done over $4,000 worth of exchanges I believe without a single issue. I don't know what to think about this group, they're trying very hard to make something of the group but so far there have been leadership issues so I can't say much about the group than I already have, it's a nice group to be in. This group has a historic legacy to it, other than that it's nothing more than a pile of cow manure to me and possibly others who share the same opinion. I can't give an opinion on my own group. You decide. I'm not going to waste my time explaining my feeling about this group. However I do have an image to describe it. Spoiler (Click to View) The groups being sold, it was once something and now nothing, it's nothing.. Lani is a good friend. These idiot weaboo cunts make me feel like I'm in Japan when I visit the sub forum, I have the sudden urge to order Sushi every single time. I resist though. No comment. Good group from what I remember before leaving, other than that there isn't much that I can say because I haven't been in the group for a while. Hexicidal has good intentions but I think his leaders are only in it for the money. Enterprise v2 - Astonish reborn. The only difference is Beslim is a little more smarter than Astonish and he doesn't lie. A remake of a nostalgic innuendo group lead by Daisy and Cody which turned into a bunch of gays rubbing mustard on one another in public. "***** butt buddy xD". In other words a bunch of kids giving marital advice, I sure as fuck wouldn't take advice from a 14 year old kid who hasn't hit puberty about my marriage or relationship, f u c k t h a t. The recent change of the group has brought apart of the community together, the part who like to gamble as a hobby or just for the heck of it, I like it so far, keep it up. Previously it was shit and so was the userbar. But keep going at the rate you're going and it'll be a good group to join. So many fought to keep this group from burning down but sadly it's come to the end of it's error from what it looks like. Omniscient Sometimes I feel like you're too lenient with me. I'm sure you know. Factor8™ A very high quality admin that puts the forum before himself, very loyal and a good friend. Xch4ng3 This kid is scared to meet me in real life because he thinks I'm a fed. Yes he lives no more than 40 minutes away from me. Paradoxum Knowing when and how to say what should be said is a sign of wisdom. This describes Paradoxum. RDCA We very rarely talk but from the small talks we've had RDCA has always been more than helpful. Skorp I like this staff member a lot, sometimes I send him random messages just to take his mind off reading messages that call him for his duty. Judge Dredd AFK IRL. Viral Dragon LOOOOOOL. My Arrest This part isn't so much feedback but a quick story PayPal Fraud. Embarrassing huh? Pathetic too. I don't even use PayPal, a few idiots on this forum made an advertisement and used stolen credit cards to donate to their fundraiser on a website such as kickstarter and cashed out the money via PayPal then sent it to their real bank through PayPal and sent me £900 + £310 as a payment via bank transfer as a payment for a leadership spot in one of my groups called Instinct, now known as Nightfall. I was the last person to receive the funds which is why I got raided for PayPal fraud. I won't mention names for now as I don't wish to get involved in my case anymore than I already am, unfortunately I don't have anything to hide on my devices and surrendered them without a fight, not that I could fight for it. But yeah, that's about it. For those of you idiots who go around saying "oh Vinnie got all of his money from stolen PayPal's", you're retarded and I feel sorry for you, you do make me laugh for being ignorant though. Lastly, don't take me seriously if I troll you, I know I can fuck with minds and cause an eruption of the brain to melting down right in front of you, but the majority of the time I'm sitting on Teamspeak laughing with friends at you while you get aggravated and start flaming.

The current ones really aren't much different from past groups for the most part, with the exception of a few groups which have turned into business rather than groups in turns of buy-ins and just turning to shit or trying to be something they shouldn't be. I've been in your groups since Legacy, which was my first group. Even though there wasn't really anything special it has been something I've always wanted back just for the Nostalgia, which I can see where people are coming from when they think groups of our past are better than the ones of the present, when they are really all the same. I believe the more changes a group goes through in terms of userbars, names, and ideas, the higher the chance of them turning to shit as one of the exceptions stated earlier. btw, The Brotherhood isn't ending anytime soon. Awesome group owner and you make me Harden. * - Ishmel - Jan 28, 2015 I'm 1/24 of your online time... I'm failing you. * - Justin Timberlake - Jan 28, 2015 A hq feedback from a hq black cat. Since you won't give feedback on your own group(Nightfall), I will. Everyone loves it. The fact that it doesn't require you to be some fake "HQ" member with requirements and projects and stuff is awesome. You let the gamers have fun and play together. For that, I tip my fedora to you 🤝 |
