[Free] Minecraft Name Checker - Frozen Firefly - Feb 4, 2015
I made this out of boredom. I'm not some experienced coder or anything. Just load up a list of names and it will attempt to check them. You can then save any available names it finds.
Note: This tool is not 100% accurate, as it uses the old Mojang name checking URL.
If you want anything added, then let me know.

I feel as this program is too simple to require a password. Just a little something I thought people might be looking for.

After its done checking, how do you know which ones are available? it just says how many are avaiable

There is 8751 "3 character" usernames left for grabs.

Most of them probably include an underscore (if I'm not mistake).

None of them include an underscore. They include numbers and letters.

It uses the "haspaid" URL. You can find it easily.

Vouch for this it is not a virus. Since the recent MC username changes I was able to grab the username Hurtful because of the tool. I deeply recommend it you should hurry up and get a OG username while you can.
