Microsoft delivering Windows 10 via Windows Update to Windows 7 And Windows 8 users - ZuGgY - Feb 5, 2015 Quote:Windows 7 and Windows 8 users can avail upgrading to Windows 10 via using Microsoft’s Windows update service Source Damn, it's like Apple's OTA on iOS. Very nice. ✌ * - Chinese Electric Batman - Feb 6, 2015 I don't really get it so if I download this test/preview, does that mean I will get FULL free Windows 10 when its released or do I gotta stick with a buggy, glitchy version forever? I mean I can't go back to windows 8 as I used all my recovery DVD things. Whatever you want to call them. If you could help me out with this question would be great thanks :) * - PrinceJunkie - Feb 7, 2015 You will get Windows 10 if you had Windows 8 previously. * - ZuGgY - Feb 8, 2015 (Feb 7, 2015 01:35 PM)PrinceJunkie Wrote: You will get Windows 10 if you had Windows 8 previously. Correction: And Windows 7. Not just 8. It will be free if you have either of these OSes. * - Encoded' - Mar 6, 2015 I cannot find it in Windows Update. I do have Windows 7. May you know why? * - Bdwi - Mar 8, 2015 Im not interested in it, not that good as Mac.. If I upgrade to that, can I get Windows 10 free, then? * - Mr. Dr. Prof. Patrick - Mar 8, 2015 (Mar 8, 2015 12:13 AM)Bdwi Wrote: Im not interested in it, not that good as Mac.. Windows will always be better than Mac. Android > iOS. Windows > OSX. * - Fox™ - Mar 8, 2015 I'm still not downgrading from Windows 7 to a lesser OS. * - Advert66 - Mar 9, 2015 when is this being released? windows is the best * - #Windows10 - Apr 25, 2015 want to try but nothing on windows update. * - Zher0 - Apr 25, 2015 Now is this already available? When is going to be released? * - Gt403cyl - Apr 27, 2015 Windows 10 is supposed to release late July. Current Genuine Windows 7/8/8.1 users will be able to "upgrade" for free within the first 365 days after it's release. After the year Windows 10 will be just like any other Microsoft OS in that you will have to buy it. Back to the OP's Topic, Having the OS come as an update is kinda cool, but for those who are not going to upgrade may be annoying if it keeps coming back as an available update. |
