Purple can be selected in the settings of HF? Lol. And OP, try clearing your cache.

It was only happening on HF. The issue corrected itself though, not sure what it was. Also, purple can be selected within the settings.

I was facing that issue some time ago on my laptop, only with chrome, closed it and it was gone after restarting.
