giving away steam gifts - Trenchguns - Feb 8, 2015
So I had a thread in member contests where it was pick a number, and the winner would get a steam castle crashers gift. Unfortunately an admin took it down, as maybe it's against the rules?(this part)
Steam Gifts
We don't allow selling of Steam games as keys or gifts. You may only sell Steam accounts in the Non-Free Accounts forum in the Marketplace.
I just thought you weren't allowed to sell them, but does it also mean you can't give them away?

If you aren't allowed to Buy, Sell, or Trade them, you aren't allowed to give them away. This is the general rule of thumb for all contests and giveaways on the site.
