Wireless sensor networks with analog/digital inputs - mifos - Feb 14, 2015

Hello , i want to create a wireless sensor network(wsn) low cost and i am interesting to know if anyone know anything about that.

I could use arduino+xbee but i am not so sure if is low power.

This network will send data ( temp-humidity) to a server and the server will upload it to a db .

Thanks

How far are you trying to transmit data?

The nRF21L01+ is $1.25ish on ebay so you can easily get a handful plus some arduino knockoffs to use them with for less than the price of one xbee transmitter/receiver pair.

The nRF21L01+ modules are only good for about 50 feet or so in my book (technically about 300 feet if no obstacles) but they are dirt cheap.
