Private section for upgraded members - DLT. - Feb 27, 2015

I've had ago at using the search button to find anything which relates to this and couldn't find anything..so i thought i'd share it with you all.
If something has been suggested like this before, im sorry.

I think it would be pretty sweet if the upgraded members could have a private subforum for making lengthy tutorials/threads.

I'm in the process right now of making a tutorial which has way more than the 1800 character limit. So i cannot view the preview of the thread, because of this.

However, if we had a private subforum which only the user creating the thread could see along with staff members, this would solve many problems.

So. I'm asking for the following:

A private subsection which only the individual user who posts the thread, +staff can see. Once the thread has been completed & you're happy to release it to the public, you have the ability to move the thread to your desired forum section which would be automatic. Or, your thread would have to be approved before it is moved.

For those who say this wouldn't be used much. That's not the point, it would be really, really, useful for those who actually make lengthy threads.

Now i don't know how the writers manage to make their threads, but this suggestion might help the Writers..in some cases?

+Vouch, I would personally not use this.
But I see how it would benefit others.

I really want this. This is pretty cool.
Hope this gets implemented

Honestly i think this would be a good idea.
This can help a lot of people especially those who have well branded tutorials.

This is a really cool idea but the problem is most people wouldn't use it so it might not be as useful as you think.

I would like to see what my current thread layout looks like, instead of breaking parts up to meet the character limit. My tutorial im creating for the crypto currency section is more than likely going to be a full page of methods.. & it's a pain in the arse with how it is at the moment.

Are you talking about the HF Uber Area?

Writers just use their subforum and some people are allowed to post in there with sirs permission I THINK.

+vouch. great idea.

Anywhere in the VIP section really, or it could be for everyone..but personally i would just go for L33T/UB3RS.

No. That's a place to PUBLISH your advanced methods....

I'm asking for a private subforum which only the individual who creates the thread can see aswell as staff members. (A place to edit your threads, without public viewing)

Which will be mainly used for those who create lengthy threads/tutorials. Like myself, im making a tutorial right now..and i cant preview my current progress due to the length of it. Meaning, i have to break up parts to get a preview. It's a constant battle, and a pain which is not needed when you're trying to help the community.

Then once the thread has been completed, you can move your thread to the desired forum section. Which could be automatic, or it could be manual process by getting approved by staff.

Really, Read the OP again.
You are misunderstanding him completely.

I understand.
That's actually a great idea.

This is a top idea.

It would encourage myself and probably others to make decent tutorials - I've personally gave up after maxing the character limit due to the fuss.
