hey, so basically there is this kid at my school who claims to be a hectic hacker, saying he is a high ranking member of anonymous (lol) and that if I can get his facebook, he will give me $50 and shut up
So pretty much I've got permission to hack his facebook, but hacking facebook's really is not something I can do; Does anyone either know how and be able to do it for me (I'll even film his reaction haha) or point me in a direction of a reasonably simple tutorial?

Try recovering his account, guessing his recovery questions, you're probably not gonna wanna infect his computer since he'll probably see it coming so do that or try cracking it with sentryMBA

Explain to him about what Anonymous is. There is no "high rank" in Anonymous. There is no leader in Anonymous. Anyone can join in Anonymous. He's using the Anonymous name to give himself fame. He can't do that. Anonymous made uploaded a video on youtube explaining who they're, what they do, and how to help. He's nothing, but a phony. The Anonymous name shall not be used as a threat or to be used for self-purposes.

first, what you should do is get him around a big group of people and have the follow facts. explain to him that anonymous does not have ranks in its members,anybody that claims to be hacker openly = skid,and number 3 you dont have to know how to "hack" to be anonymous.

Tell him that anonymous are a bunch of know nothing twats who got loads of media attention by the efforts of a few people who were only loosely affiliated with it.
Anyone who claims they're into security then mentions anonymous in the same breath is only good for laughing at.
Also, trying to "hack" someone's Facebook is not hacking and only serves to demonstrate further that neither he nor you know anything about security.

There's other solutions than getting into his facebook account.
First one is to learn a little about different methods of hackings, tools, programmation langage and ask him to exeplain it to you while being in a middle of a group to show how ignorant he is. But he might know a thing or two and you have to be confident in the informations you got.

Gather as much info as you can...his password is probably imal337ub3rhax0r...what I'm saying is, socially engineer him into giving you the answers to his security question...if this skid has heard of two factor authentication you're done right there...might as well call game over, nothing short of stealing his phone will let you bypass 2FA.
