Uefi Bios frozen on new build new help! - Defuse - Mar 3, 2015
recently got all my pc parts i swapped the hard drive from my old pc to the new build and when i bootup the pc i get an error on the motherboard which indicates that their is no boot device selected
however
when i got to uefi bios it works for half a second then freezes and i can't do anything i need some serious help i tried removing 1 ram stick and switching gpu pci slots still no help i tried that stupid usb flashback but that did not work at all it did not flashback anything
motherboard: asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0
ram: 1x 4gb of vengeance ram and 1x 8b of vengeance ram
cpu: AMD FX-8320E Vishera 8-Core 3.2GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+
gpu: gtx 750 ti
psu: corsair cx750
ssd: samsung 250gb ssd
hard drive: 1tb seagate
please help me!

remove the cmos battery on the motherboard and unplug the power from the wall to the computer. press the power button a few times to clear it all residual power out and then wait a few minutes and plug everything back in

I don't know who told you to get those components if not for yourself, eitherways it was a bad deal.
Not that this matters, but did you even format the HDD?
