[PHP & VB.NET] Encryption for php and vb.Net needed - ๖ۣۜMrRoot - Mar 4, 2015 Hello, So I'm trying to transfer encrypted text (no matter what encryption method) from a .net program to a php server to store in MySQL, I prefer something with only numbers & letters and it needs to be decryptable (not md5 or similar). It's because when for ex. I transfer text using GET (It needs to be GET, not POST) and it contains stuff like ":" and "-" only half of the uploaded text is stored. Base64 & XOR Didn't work. So does anyone have any other encryptions and the code for it? Thank you. * - Zyklon A - Mar 4, 2015 Get the raw bytes of the data you need to encrypt. Use AES to encrypt the data and convert them into UrlSafeBase64 string (replace + with - and / with _). On the server side just use reverse process. * - ๖ۣۜMrRoot - Mar 4, 2015 (Mar 4, 2015 05:23 AM)Deodorant Wrote: Get the raw bytes of the data you need to encrypt. Okay sorry for my stupidity Alright no nvm, I'm getting this error while converting in vb.Net to base64 http://skypepaste.ga/23048622 * - Zyklon A - Mar 4, 2015 (Mar 4, 2015 06:11 AM)CallofCyandic Wrote: I have no problem with the + & /, I have problem with the "&" it deletes all text after the & What are you trying to convert to base64? The error is pretty straightforward. The GET request look like this "url.com?data1=something&data2=something. "&" is used as a delimiter. * - ๖ۣۜMrRoot - Mar 4, 2015 (Mar 4, 2015 06:51 AM)Deodorant Wrote: What are you trying to convert to base64? The error is pretty straightforward. Alright, I was pretty stupid, I thought the error was from encrypting but It was a decrypt error (if an error occurs, it retries it in the decrypted state). Just nvm, thanks for your help man, it's fixed. |
