Dark Comet acting weird - not showing slaves - cenari0 - Mar 7, 2015 Can anyone help me here? Before I crypt my stub I usually try it on myself and it infects me, then I go ahead and do the crypting and infecting. Anyways that was about a couple months ago. Today I redownloaded dark comet, and I tried to infect myself with the uncrypted stub but it wont pop up :/ Funny thing is when I try to delete the stub from the "my documents" folder, it goes something like "File cannot be deleted because File still active in Remote administration tool". Yet the the stub isn't even popping up on my DC, what is going on?? My firewall and av are all turned off so it can't be that. So I just changed the network settings in my DC, I removed my NO-IP address and simply used my normal IP address and it suddenly infected me. Now I still do not know if it will infect other people from other networks. what does this mean?? NO-IP doesnt work anymore?? Can I still use DP to infect other people without installing NO-IP?? Any suggestion guys? Thanks * - Yoshikage Kira - Mar 7, 2015 Are you on Windows 8/Windows 10? DC doesn't work for me on Windows 10. * - cenari0 - Mar 7, 2015 (Mar 7, 2015 03:49 PM)Greed Wrote: Are you on Windows 8/Windows 10? Im on windows 8, what I have noticed is that when I change the IP from my NO-IP address to my normal IP/DNS, it infects me and I pop up on DC. Does that mean there is something wrong with NO-IP?? Can I use DC without NO-IP at all ?? * - Foxy. - Mar 7, 2015 you should use freedns instead of no-ip, no-ip is a little bit unstable. |
